Bluma Project's eye catching collection is the product of
its global team effort with women's cooperatives. Members of Bluma's
team travel to Africa throughout the year to directly mentor women in
advanced jewelry design. Each piece has been produced on site by a woman
who was able to earn a sustainable wage and support her family,
something that is often hard to come by in these locations.
In Rwanda , Bluma Project employs women to support themselves toward
their own rise in life and spirit by continual education and
empowerment.
Intricately designed glass beads, once used for trading and ceremony, are still handcrafted by artisans locally in rural Ghana.
