Antique Georgian 15k Guilloché Enamel and Pearl Oval Ring
Details: This stunning Georgian ring features an elegant elongated oval framed by a fine border of natural seed pearls. The background shows a circular pattern of white enamel and royal blue guilloché framing a decorative sterling silver floret and two tiny silver bezels. The floret and the individual bezels are each set with rose cut diamonds. Flowers were universally considered to be romantic, the blue enamel expressed the sentiment of ‘considering a loved one royalty’, and the white enamel showed purity. A very striking ring, this is a true collector’s piece.
The ring is in beautiful antique condition. As with any piece over a hundred years old, care should be taken while wearing.
Measurements: The setting is 7/8" wide and 1 5/16" tall. The ring size is 8.25 and can be sized.
Origin: English, c.1780.
