Details: This gorgeous ring is a stellar example of the popular Victorian snake motif. Very heavy and crafted of 18k gold, this ring features two intertwined snakes, one with diamond eyes and the other with emeralds.
Snakes have long been a strong religious and royal symbols since early Egyptian times. In the Victorian era, serpent motifs came to symbolize eternal love. Snake jewelry and rings in particular became extremely popular in the mid-1800's due to wide spread admiration for Queen Victoria's emerald-set snake engagement ring.
Measurements: The ring size is 6.75 and weighs 14.2 grams.
