Antique Early Victorian Navy Enamel & Large Rose Cut Diamond Ring
Details: This lovely Victorian ring displays classic design themes of the period. The enamel is rich royal blue and makes the central star motif shine even more brightly. The center of the star is a large, round rose cut diamond - and the points of the star each feature an additional tiny rose cut. The diamonds are all bead set.
During the Victorian era, a variety of new technological advancements occurred - such as photography - enabling the ability to document data and images. This fascination and study of the stars found its way into the design realm - hence its place in fashion and jewelry. The star was a representation of spiritual guidance.
Measurements: The ring size is 6+ and can be sized within a certain range. The total carat weight is approximately 3/8ct.
