Antique Victorian Gold Cameo Hardstone Fede Ring
Details: A beautifully detailed rendering of two hands clasped is delicately carved in hard stone agate. Fede in Italian means trust, and historically this fede symbol was associated with close friendship or marriage. The use of the clasped hands originated during the Roman Empire, c. 400 AD and has been a traditional symbol ever since.
