Details: A stunning dendritic agate pendant set in 18k gold bezel on a fine gold chain with one of Gabriella's exquisite handmade clasps. Often called picture agate, these stones are semi-precious chalcedony veined with trace metals or iron ore. The agates form in nodules left behind in ancient volcanic lava rocks and the heat and the pressure over thousands of years causes the formation of beautiful natural-looking tree or snowflake-like patterns in the stone. Highly collectable and one of our favorite stones, no two are alike.  

Measurements: The pendant measures just over 1" tall by 3/4" wide. The chain is 16" long.
