Antique Arts & Crafts 14k & Turquoise Ring
Details: This Arts and Crafts period ring features a lovely and vibrant turquoise stone with a unique inclusion of pyrite at one edge. The setting is a combination of prong and bezel - giving the stone a charming frame around it. The back of the ring is enclosed and fluted.
Originating in England, the Arts and Crafts movement begin during the late Victorian period - an artistic backlash in response to the mass industrialization. The movement advocated the advancement of the designer as craftsman and promoted the use of natural materials.
Measurements: The ring size is 5.75. The stone is approximately 1/2" wide and 3/4" tall.
Origin: American, c., 1900's.
