Antique Victorian 12k-14k Diamond "Toi et Moi" Ring
Details: This Victorian double diamond cross over ring, known as a "toi et moi" ring, is lovely in its simple design. The band is slightly rosy and has soft curved lines as it dips and rises into the two diamond setting of white gold.
The French style “toi et moi” - which translates to "you and me" - refers to this double stone setting, symbolizing the intertwining of two souls. During the late 19th and early 20th century, these were common engagement rings. A trend believed to have been started by the sapphire and diamond engagement ring Napoleon gave to Josephine in the late 1700's.
